2500 or 3500?

1. The 3500 has a pixel-shifting capable camera, the 2500 does not.

Thus the 3500 has the ability to do ultra high def 26 megapixel images, the 2500 does not have this ability.

Please keep in mind that the standard definition image quality of the 2500 is remarkable, and still equal or better than any other desktop microfilm scanner on the market due to the extra large image sensor that comes standard on all ScanPros.

2. These buttons are included on the 3500,

or can be unlocked on the 2500 with ScanPro Advantage membership $249 per year:

-AUTO Adjust (one click does these 4 indiviual buttons: Brightness, Contrast,Straigthen, Crop)

     -Spot-Edit

-Scan-to-Email  (mainly for public libraries that need to lock down File Explorer)

-AUTOScan  (AUTOScan comes standard with the SP3500, AUTOScan gets upgraded to AUTOScan PRO                                    on both 2500 and 3500 with SPA subscription)
